ANTONI POŁANIECKI

On 12 August 1946, the Municipal Court in Opatów, represented by Judge Al. Zalewski, with the participation of reporter R. Cybulski, interviewed the person mentioned below as a witness, without taking an oath. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations, of the wording of Article 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, and of the significance of the oath, the witness testified as follows:

Name and surname Antoni Jan Połaniecki
Age 47 years old
Parents’ names Tomasz and Monika
Place of residence Opatów, Monopolowa Street 22
Occupation driver
Religious affiliation Roman Catholic
Criminal record none
Relationship to the parties none

In the summer of 1945, while passing through, I saw the former head of Opatów Arbeitsamt [labor office], who was at that time imprisoned in a temporary camp for war criminals in Neumünster, between Hamburg and Rendsburg. I knew him personally and I definitely recognized him.
