2) Jan Tuznik, 45 years old, a farmer
3) Józefa Tuznik, 43 years old, a housewife
4) Aniela Dudek, 38 years old, a farmer
5) Leopold Dudek, 40 years old, a farmer – all residents of the village of Krępa Kościelna, Krępa Kościelna commune.
4. Is it known what the victims were accused of, whether the execution was carried out in retaliation, etc.?

It is unknown what the victims were accused of, and it could hardly be an execution in

retaliation because nothing had happened before.

5. Who carried out the execution (gendarmes, Gestapo men, SS men, policemen, the Wehrmacht)?

The gendarmes from Lipsko nad Wisłą – one of the perpetrators was Werner; they were

assisted by a unit from Radom.

6. Are the surnames of the perpetrators known? (Give the surnames).

There were a few torturers, one of them by the surname of Werner.

7. Were the corpses burnt or destroyed otherwise (where)?

Jan Tuznik, Józefa and Aniela Dudek were burnt together with farm buildings on the

site. Józefa Kawałek was killed, but wasn’t burnt. Leopold Dudek was taken in an

unknown direction.

8. Where were the corpses buried (provide the exact location)?

In the cemetery in Krępa Kościelna.

9. Description of the place of burial (graves, dimensions, estimated number of victims buried in one grave).

Single graves, in accordance with Roman Catholic burial custom.

10. Were the corpses exhumed, were they officially reinterred (report)? If “yes” to the latter, then where?

The corpses weren’t exhumed.

11. Are there any grounds for conducting their exhumation in the future?

No.

On 1 October 1945, the contents of the above questionnaire were officially certified by Kazimierz Grodzicki, the head of Krępa Kościelna commune, with the Municipal Court in Lipsko.
