LEOKADIA DRZEWIŃSKA

Leokadia Drzewińska, born in Ukuw [?] on 4 August 1914.

I was arrested on 29 March, 1940, in Bielsk Podlaski for border crossing. I was incarcerated in the prison in Brześć nad Bugiem and sentenced to three years in prison. I spent six months in prison, and then I was deported to gulag camps in the town of Potma, Mordovian ASSR, Tagur [?], where I performed forced labor in factories, fields and woods for a period of one year.

I was released on 22 September 1941, and on 28 September 1941 I joined the army in Buzuluk. Later I was in Guzar.

I had a very bad time during the investigation and during my stay in prison.
