Testifies as follows: I only know that on 8 September 1939 I saw front-line German troops, who had just occupied our village, execute eight men – led out singly from the cellars of the manor – next to my barn. The German soldiers assisted me in placing the bodies on a cart. I then took them to the field, where they were buried.
