Kielce, 18 January 1948, 3:00 PM, I, Józef Łukasik from the Criminal Investigation Section of the Citizens’ Militia station in Kielce, maintaining the formalities listed in art. 135, 140, 258 and 259 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, with the participation of reporter Jan Zielono, whom I informed of his obligation to attest to the conformity of the report with the actual course of the procedure by his own signature, have heard the person named below as a witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations, the witness testified as follows:

Regarding the present case, I am aware of the following facts. In 1942, in September – I do not remember the exact date, but it was around 14 September – my son was arrested, but by whom, I do not know; [I don’t know] whether by Gestapo or by military policemen. He was in the prison in Kielce. What they accused him of, or how they tortured him, I do not know.
On 16 December 1943, I went to give my son clean underwear and to take the dirty one from him. The warder from the prison service told me that my son was gone. Where he was shot dead and where his body is buried, I do not know.
I only heard that he was reportedly shot dead in Mierków [?] or in the prison square, but to this day, I still do not know exactly.
I have testified all the facts known to myself.
