My wartime experiences
In 1939, the war broke out. I was still young, I was only six years old. I did not attend school. I only heard the planes bombing Wisznice. Not far from us, the communists shot Polish officers and [other] soldiers. Mr. Piotrowski made coffins for them and buried them at the local cemetery.
