In reference to the request submitted by the Main Commission for the Investigation of Hitlerite Crimes in Poland, District Commission in Białystok, we ask for clarification as to how the request to award [our parents] the title of Righteous Among the Nations is being proceeded.
We would like to mention that our parents and grandmother sheltered Jews and provided them with aid, for which our father Heronim [Hieronim] Skłodowski and grandmother Aleksandra Skłodowska were murdered on 20 January 1944, and our mother with five children were jailed in Jasienica.
